William MacAllister is a Neuropsychologist with clinical experience in a vast array of neurological conditions. Specifically, his interests are in pediatric and adolescent populations. Dr. MacAllister is currently a Research Specialist in the SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine, Department of Neurology and is currently involved in the pediatric Multiple Sclerosis project. He has presented research related to cognitive functioning in MS at both national and international conferences, and evaluates children and adults with cognitive problems from MS as well as other neurologic conditions.

In addition to his research, MacAllister enjoys working with children, their families, and the school systems to ensure proper academic and psychosocial adjustment and to maximize quality of life for these individuals.
