Maria Milazzo, N.P., CPNP
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Maria Milazzo, a pediatric nurse practitioner with a special interest in caring for children and adolescents with infectious and inflammatory disorders of the nervous system, has been in practice for thirteen years. She is currently the principal nurse coordinator at the National Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis Center at Stony Brook Hospital.  Ms. Milazzo is also a Clinical Assistant Professor with appointments in the School of Medicine and the School of Nursing at Stony Brook Hospital.  She is an active educator who enjoys sharing her experience with other health care professionals, parents and member of the community.
 
Ms. Milazzo has written over 30 publications regarding her work including book chapters for neurology textbooks.  She has also lectured internationally on pediatric MS.
