How To Participate In A Study

Epidemology

This study examines the demographic features of children with MS and other related disorders.

In order to participate you must:

·         be 1 – 17 years

·         have a diagnosis of MS or related disease

·         be willing to answer questions by phone and/or come to the center

Clinical & Cognitive Features

This study examines the neurological aspects of MS. The ability to concentrate and memory are also assessed.

In order to participate you must:

• be 1- 17 years
• have MS or related disorder
• be willing to come to the Center

Biomarkers & Genetics

This study tests the blood for proteins specific to MS.

In order to participate you must:

• be 1 – 17 years of age
• have MS or related disorder
• provide a blood sample

Visualization of Stem Cells In MS

This study involves neuroimaging to distinquish stem cells (precursor neurologic cells) in MS and related disorders.

In order to participate you must:

• 1 – 65 year
• Have MS or related disorder
• be willing to be evaluated at either the Pediatric or Adult MS Centers
• be will to undergo an MRI
